Water is an essential necessity that allows children and families to live healthy lives.

Water for Children Africa, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in San Diego, California in 1993 with the mission to provide self-sustainable clean water solutions to rural African schools and communities.

All members and volunteers work on a volunteer basis (unpaid), ensuring 100% of donations reach those who need it most.

Our Mission

PROVIDE clean drinking water and hygiene solutions to schools and villages.
PARTNER with local communities to build water infrastructure.
EMPOWER women and girls to improve their lives.
TRAIN and encourage youth and adults to volunteer.
BUILD an entrepreneurial bridge between the US and Africa.

African Trade and Business Conference

Each year we facilitate the African Trade and Business Conference in collaboration with educational institutions and local businesses in San Diego County, creating opportunities for people interested in doing business with Africa or learning about its diverse cultures.

Our invited speakers educate youth and community members on current African issues, while vendors present their local businesses and innovations.
